MOLYSLIP COPASLIP OCTG is a premium, lead-free tool joint and drill collar compound formulated with highly refined, low-sulphur, low-pour-point mineral oil and thickened with calcium sulphonate complex soap. This compound contains copper flakes and graphite for solid lubrication, along with a high concentration of corrosion inhibitors, anti-oxidants, and anti-wear additives, making it ideal for the most demanding conditions, including corrosive, wet, humid, dirty, or chemically aggressive environments where superior water washout resistance is essential.

MOLYSLIP COPASLIP OCTG delivers excellent lubrication and anti-wear protection to reduce friction during assembly, preventing issues such as pick-up, galling, and seizure, which helps ensure easier breakout during routine maintenance. The product has been independently tested and proven to exceed the standards set by API RP 5A3 / ISO 13778:2010.

This compound is effective across a wide temperature range and is specifically designed to prevent the seizure and cold welding of threaded connections, rotary shoulder, drill collar, and tool joint connections used in oilfield equipment such as drill strings, casings, production tools, and tubing. Its unique blend of additives ensures strong adhesion to cold or wet tooling, high resistance to washout, and thermal stability, making it suitable for high-temperature applications.
