Molyslip® GRAPHSLIP OCTG is a high-performance, metal-free tool joint and drill collar compound formulated with highly refined, low-sulphur, low-pour-point mineral oil, thickened using calcium sulphonate complex soap. This advanced product incorporates both graphite and a unique blend of solid lubricants, along with high concentrations of corrosion inhibitors, anti-oxidants, and anti-wear additives, making it ideal for the harshest conditions, including corrosive, wet, humid, dirty, or chemically aggressive environments where superior resistance to water washout is essential.

Molyslip® GRAPHSLIP OCTG provides exceptional lubrication and anti-wear protection, reducing friction during assembly and preventing issues such as pick-up, galling, and seizure. This facilitates easier breakout during routine maintenance. The product is specifically formulated to meet the standards set by API RP 5A3 / ISO 13678:2010.

This compound is effective across a wide temperature range and is designed to prevent the seizure of threaded connections and "cold welding" of rotary shoulder, drill collar, and tool joint connections found on oilfield equipment such as drill strings, casings, production tools, and tubing. Its specially formulated blend ensures enhanced adhesion to cold or wet tooling, high resistance to washout, and thermal stability, making it ideal for high-temperature applications.
