MOLYSLIP COPASLIP TJC is a lead-free, dual-purpose drill collar and tool joint compound designed for the most demanding environments. It is formulated using highly refined, low-sulphur, low-pour-point mineral oil thickened with a complex soap. This compound contains copper flakes and graphite as solid lubricants, along with a high concentration of corrosion inhibitors, anti-oxidants, and anti-wear additives, making it ideal for use in corrosive, wet, humid, or chemically harsh environments where water washout resistance is critical.

MOLYSLIP COPASLIP TJC offers exceptional lubrication and anti-wear performance, reducing friction during assembly and preventing issues like pick-up, galling, and seizure. This ensures easier breakout in challenging oilfield applications. It is designed to meet or exceed the requirements of API RP 5A3 / ISO 13778:2010.

Effective across a wide temperature range, MOLYSLIP COPASLIP TJC prevents seizure of threaded connections and cold welding on rotary shoulder, drill collar, and tool joint connections found on oilfield equipment such as drill strings, casings, production tools, and tubing. The versatile formulation is also suitable for use on casing, tubing, and line pipe, allowing for product rationalization in multiple applications.
