Aquatest is a highly concentrated corrosion inhibitor blend designed to protect tanks, piping, HVAC systems, sprinklers, and other water-filled systems from rust and corrosion.
By adding just 2-5% Aquatest to water used to fill a sealed system, you can make the water non-corrosive, significantly prolonging the life of metal components. In certain applications, such as steel drum reconditioning, even a low concentration of 0.2–0.5% is effective in preventing flash rusting during power washing.
Aquatest works by neutralizing corrosion potential in the water, providing long-lasting protection for metal surfaces during and after processes like pressure testing, leak testing, and cleaning.
